Most Suitable Step for Rice Cultivation
Following are the step by step guide of rice cultivation:-
-
Weeding or Plant Management
The plantation management of rice is quite different from the plantation management of other fertile varieties of paddy. First, level the field by ploughing the nursery properly for planting hybrid paddy in a one-hectare area, 700 to 800 square meters. Area nurseries are sufficient. For this, make beds of 1 to 1.25 m wide, 10 m and 8 m long respectively. Thus, about 70 beds are required for planting hybrid paddy in a one-hectare area. Many tractors are available for weeding or plant management like Farmtrac 6055 Powermaxx, Mahindra 575, Swaraj 963 and many more. But New Holland Tractor is more suitable for this operation.
-
Seed Treatment
Seed treatment must be done before planting the nursery. For this, where there is a problem of bacterial scorch or bacterial disease, then 25 kg. For seeds, mix 4 grams of streptomycin or 40 grams of Plantomycin and soak overnight in water. Dry it in the shade on the second day and put it in the nursery.
If there is no problem of scorching in the area, then 25 kg. After soaking the seeds in water overnight, take them out on the second day, and after the excess water is removed, 75 grams. Thiram or 50 grams. Carbendazim should be dissolved in 8-10 litres of water and mixed in the seed, after which it is germinated in the shade and put in the nursery. Bio pesticides should be used for seed treatment.
-
Field Preparation for Planting
The field in which hybrid paddy is to be planted. It should be ploughed well in May-June. So that weeds and harmful insects are destroyed. If cow dung is to be applied, then about 2 weeks before transplanting, mix a tonne of manure per hectare in the field for 10-15 days. After dispersing the waste, ploughing should be done with irrigation so that the fertilizer mixes well in the soil. To prepare fields for planting, many tractor models are available. For the same, farmers can choose the Kubota tractor as an option.
-
Fertilizer Requirement and Application
The recommended amount of fertilizer was applied according to the soil tests. For higher yields, hybrid rice requires more integrated nutrients than regular rice. This 150 kg nitrogen, 75 kg phosphorus and 60 kg potash and 25 kg zinc sulphate per hectare is required.
At transplanting, the half dose of nitrogen and the total amount of phosphorus and potash are applied. The quantity of remaining nitrogen comes out in two equal parts: the time and the time of rent or booting you should use as a dressing.
-
Irrigation
Suppose there is an adequate irrigation facility, about 5-6 cm. It is beneficial if water remains standing in the field. The maximum amount of water is required in the field at paddy transplantation and when harvesting and filling the grain. At these stages, 5-6 cm of water must be filled in the field. Drain water from the field for 4-5 days to prevent late-blooming buds. And stop irrigation after 15 days of harvesting by removing water from the field.
-
Weed Control
To destroy the weeds of paddy, use Khurpi or Padweeder. Weedkiller chemicals can also do this work. Butachlor 5% granules 30-40 kg to control grass species and broadleaf weeds in transplanted paddy. Per he Or Benthiocarb 10 percent granule 15 kg or Benthiocarb 50 EC. 3 li. Or Pendi Methylene (30 EC) 3.3 L. Or Anilofos 30 BC. 1.65 litres per hectare. It would be appropriate to do this within 3.4 days only under conditions of good moisture.
To control broadleaf weeds only, 2-4 D sodium salt is used at the rate of 625 grams per hectare. It should be used one week after paddy transplantation and 20 days after direct sowing. In addition, 4-5 cm of water must be filled in the field while using fine chemicals to prevent weeds. Use of fuchloralene at 2.0 L/ha. Must be done before printing.
